8pm is the goal for bedtime but after micromanagement of my 6&7 year old, kitchen, and bathroom clean up the bedtime is more 10ish. My alarm goes off 4:45-5am.
I’m married (If you know you know). At this point, I would much rather cuddle than go to work. Being a full time housewife is a luxury that has not been afforded to me. Nevertheless, I value the use of my education and skill set to provide solutions to the Mental Health Professional field.
Marketing myself as a working Artist and small business start-up has its challenges. I do enjoy the opportunity to provide a creative space for others. I believe in Art as a therapeutic method and as a Clinician and Creative know it’s effectiveness.

For this Juneteenth Celebration, I submitted content to Hope Inc Stories. Being that this weekend is also Fathers Day, I shared one of my collages series called Malcolm X and a poem called Black Man. I want to honor the Black men in my life and community who have paved the way for our generations to be excellent, be intentional, be authentic, be original, be innovative, and finally one thing my husband always said during our courtship, “ Be Courageous”.
I am also active in my community, mentor, and receive mentorship; It is better to be a problem solver, solution giver, and contributor to the positive development of ones own community versus a bystander who complains.
It takes courage to lives one dreams. It takes courage to be innovative. It takes courage to stand on ones integrity even when no one else takes notice. Leadership development is a process I am passing through. The growing pains of being stretched and pulled are teaching me to be disciplined and caused me to grow in much needed areas. I appreciate those in my community who live transparent lives so I can learn from them. I appreciate my mentors and fellow Creatives whose transparency inspires me to keep blazing my own trail and control my personal narrative. Big Up! Namaste 🙏
It’s been several months since stepping into my Art Studio. I am nearly complete with my Collage Art Series. The next major thing is to complete my current painting. Next, I have several ideas to manifest and look forward to it. ~Art Flow~
