So I was curious what does the name “Boaz” exactly mean. The literal meaning in Hebrew is “He contains boldness” another translation is “Swiftness or Speed” This is a good name and if you read about him in the book of Ruth you will find that the man most def wasted no time making Ruth his wife once he cleared up some family business. Matter of fact, he was bold in providing for her, protecting her, and making provision in defending her honor. Ruth was blessed with a man of good character and reputation and turned her mourning into dancing. To all my Sista’s may God bless us to be patient in receiving the gift of companionship of a man worthy of our love. To all my brotha’s may you also receive your Princess worthy of your heart at the proper time. Bless.
