Save the girls not just physically but mentally from tyranny

Father in Heaven …may you surrounds those young girl’s with fire from heaven…and let not one hair upon theirs heads be touched. May they be at peace and safely brought home to their families and may they be advocates and voices in this dark world that has exploited your daughters for hundreds of years…Lord bring forth a change. Hear the cries of these your children…hear the cry of these mother’s of Nigeria and other Mother’s in this world crying out for their children who have been sold into human trafficking or sex slaves…Lord stop these abuses and raise up Godly men to pray and rebuke these wicked practices that feed the most perverse appetites. Set the captives free in Jesus name.

In Reflection of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Let us applaud the achievements of MLK. Let us remember he was a man of action. Let us remember he was a man of principle. Let us remember that he was a man of integrity.  Let us also remember he was scorned, beaten, imprisoned, ridiculed, spent many a sleepless night, separated from his family (wife and children), and murdered. Let us remember he did not achieve anything alone of himself but God was his strength. If you applaud him today and fail to carry the torch of making our community a better place…please sit down.

Note to self

Do not mind the fact when you encounter bitter individuals. You know the type….as soon as you enter the room they strike you with an evil eye. Yes there are those full to the brim with bitterness to the extent that your smiling face and kind demeanor is like nails on a chalkboard. Do no mind the fact that when you greet them they glare at you as if your very existence pains them. You see…bitter individuals are broken. Their discomfort with themselves and their bitter memories compel them to hurt others. Why do you ask? Lets not bother to climb into the mind of a bitter individual who delights in bringing such a dark atmosphere. Rather let us focus on peace and joy. I know it really does hurt when you kindly reach out to another only to receive hatred unfounded….unforgiveness can do that. On an objective level keep being kind, keep being loving, keep making peace and not war. Why you ask? Cause evil begets evil so in-order to break the cycle of evil one must love.
