Jealousy is toxic and envy poisonous.

How does one copyright originality…
It is a great gift to be full of ideas and constantly producing work, poems, and music. It flows like water through the gifted and for this great treasure in earthen vessels we should be thankful. It is true our gifts are meant to be shared with those we love, our neighbor, our community, and humanity at large. Sadly when people seek to exploit others gifts due to selfishness it rather creates a burden. Short story: one year I was admiring this gorgeous photograph of a white rose in a powerpoint presentation while waiting for my turn to step on stage and sing. It was lovely and my name was within this particular slide with the white rose. Speaking to the person next to me…I said what a beautiful photo I could not keep my eyes off of it… it looked so familiar to me. She ( the one who put the powerpoint together) says…yeah I copied it from your Facebook page. I looked at her shocked(my thoughts)- how could you just publicly post my pictures without my consent and think it was okay—Her response was that anyone can make a copy of your pictures there on the internet. I said please never do that again that is my work. Please respect my work and never ever seek to duplicate, sale, or copy without my permission and/or consent.

Recently I was invited by an organization called “Of One Body” to serve the Haitian community this winter. They have helped in Haiti several times and as you know after the series of earthquakes the Haitian community still needs helping hands and loving support. One thing I truly enjoy is helping uplift my fellow neighbors whether it is in my community or abroad. I delight in every opportunity to share the love of God through service uplifting others.
Thank you for your contribution,

Life lessons in uncertain times:Beloved you can be certain.
Hmmmmmm…exhale. It has been awhile since I have written at length via my digital journal…I have written new poems on scratch paper. I decided to complete my manuscript before uploading anything else. Now back to the title: Life lessons in uncertain times..Beloved you can be certain…A whirlwind of activities has been going on nationally, internationally, and personally. The political climate is “straining at a gnat and swallowing a camel” while locally random acts of violence are breaking out daily in the local paper and news headlines. All of these birth pains leading to a climax of what we cannot foresee. Our White House in political slumber on the peoples issues while people are dying, starving, unemployed, underpaid, seeking justice, and all this while lavishly getting paid (working class dollars at work) they cannot feel the pain of the average citizen they are far out of reach to the sting of poverty, late bills, bill collectors, health insurance policies or the lack thereof, and student loan threats/debts. Frankly I am tired…the pursuit of happiness..what does that mean anyways??? I was told as a child that hard work paid off, if you do not work you do not eat, and laziness is a sin. Okay so being a workaholic has not kept me from experiencing some of the above mention typical stresser of an everyday citizen… so all these life lessons in uncertain times…Beloved you/me/we can be certain God will work all things together for our good. I believe. Do you?
Marvelous darling…just marvelous!!!
Well everyone….I am elated to report that I did my first Artist reception at the C Art Gallery in Seattle WA and four of my pieces are being displayed until August 24th. It is a wonderful thing for one’s dream to come true. I am now looking forward to completing part two of Noir Femme and doing a complete show of the installation.

Would you prefer a lie or the truth?
Is it really hard for some people to speak the truth? If so… why is that. I mean think about it would you want to be lied to. There is a saying that “ignorance is bliss” is that true or is ignorance just plain ignorance. Sometime people actually believe the best out of every situation and that all people are good until proven otherwise. Beside there is always two side to a story so giving someone the benefit of the doubt is natural at least to me. At times I wonder whether this is healthy since betrayal has been a long time friend along with envy, hate, etc….just curious what you think on this topic of being totally honest.
Moment of Truth
In contemplating this tedious process of dating and seeking companionship. The beauty of loving and being loved also comes with the risk of heartache. The heartache is not just those of us who have experienced divorce but also the disappointment of investing time and energy in these friendship that fizzle out for various reason and bring us back to square one. What I have realized is my passion and desire for companionship and having a fruitful relationship with children is a gift from God. However the most important thing is that God become bigger than my desires and passion…why…nothing in this world can satisfy the longing soul. For those of us seeking companionship we will not find a perfect individual but a son/daughter of the Most High God who is on the Potters wheel being transformed from glory to glory. So my question to you is what are you looking for? God said ask it shall be given seek and we shall find knock and the door will be opened. We must be honest with ourselves about what our needs truly are and in praying and fasting making our request made known unto God. He loves us and wants the best for us so give your heart to him first before you try and find a companion to set your heart upon. If we seek first God’s kingdom and righteousness all things will be added to us may the Lord help our unbelief and let us be honest and all players delivered. God loves us but our righteousness is filthy rags. Remember every good and perfect gift comes from above…so be encouraged.
